Spanish is spoken in some 22 countries and by more than 350 million people. Besides Spain, Spanish is the main language in countries such as Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela and Peru. It is the official language or one of the official languages in 22 countries. Mexico has the largest number of Spanish speaking people in the world. Just like any other language, Spanish spoken in different regions is different. The Spanish spoken in Latin America is different from that spoken in Spain. The Spanish spoken in Columbia is slower for instance amongst the Latin American countries.
The number of people who speak Spanish has increased in recent years. English language too has adopted more and more Spanish words in its daily use. Those who want to learn Spanish has naturally increased over the years. Many would like to learn Spanish language in order to appreciate its rich literary tradition and heritage. But more than this, the number of people who want to learn Spanish for its functional use in day to day communications are much more.

The Spanish pimsleur uses the technique of Graduated Interval Recall which assists in learning quite fast. The program stresses only lightly on grammar.
There is the conventional Spanish speaking course which is laborious. The learners have to take regular time off attending the class. Most often people do not have the time for such course. Not only this, this is mostly not the Spanish that one wants to learn. They want to learn the more functional language that can make sure that you are effectively able to communicate with Spanish speaking people with whom you have to deal with in ordinary day to day life. It is actually not so easy to learn any language. Each language has its own grammar. You will get used to it either by learning them or by speaking the language as people speak.
