Spanish students have an easier time learning in San Jose than other cities in the USA because of the large number of native Spanish speakers in the San Jose population. Definitely take advantage of this when you study ad try to find yourself an ‘inter-cambio’ partner for regular Spanish conversation.

Having Spanish as a second language, to any degree, will definitely help to give you a competitive edge in the San Jose employment market, where the ebility to speak Spanish is becoming increasingly valued by employers.

If you’re planning to learn Spanish in San Jose, but aren’t yet familiar with the city, San Jose (meaning St. Joseph in Spanish) is the third largest city in California and the 10th largest in the USA. Often called The Capital of Silicon Valley, San Jose sits at the Southern end of the San Fransisco Bay area - Silicon Valley. It’s a terrifically exciting and active place to live in, and a great place to learn Spanish!
