Your challenge may be to find a Spanish language movie in the local multiplex, but many art houses and specialty theatres bring in foreign movies to show. Most have English subtitles, so if you hit a rough spot interpreting the Spanish, you can always take a peak the subtitles.

Don’t Forget Your Local Video Store

Another option is to check out the local video store. Depending on their foreign film selection, you may come across a few Spanish classics. A better bet is to peruse the selection of foreign films at NetFlix if you are a member. They have a rather extensive selection of foreign films and you can have your own fun-filled Spanish class right in the comfort of your own home!

Stay Up-to-Date on New Spanish Film

If you like to surf the Internet, you can find reviews of the latest Spanish film releases at a number of websites. Not too many are in English, but About.com has a section on international and independent films that are playing in the U.S.
If you feel adventurous, try calling up a Spanish website that follows new releases of Spanish language movies. Try checking out sites like Zinema.com or Cine Adeptos.com and give your new Spanish reading skills a whirl.
